Customer Host – Part‑time (4 hrs)

About the role

We are looking for a enthusiastic Customer Host to join our White Stuff store on a 4‑hour contract basis. You will work closely with the Shop Manager and the retail team to deliver an exceptional customer experience across the high street.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers throughout the journey, following the A.C.E. pillars – Be Friendly, Be Inspiring, Be Invaluable.
• Promote multichannel shopping using the mobile point‑of‑sale (mPOS) system and create endless‑aisle orders.
• Sign customers up to email newsletters, tag purchases to profiles and issue e‑receipts in line with data‑protection regulations.
• Maintain high visual standards, support floor moves, mannequin and window displays, and ensure product replenishment.
• Process deliveries efficiently, assist with stocktakes and manage Click + Collect and ship‑from‑store orders.
• Contribute to team briefs, adhere to health & safety procedures and provide a professional approach to internal and external visitors.

• Good understanding of shop KPIs and a drive to continuously improve performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a mobile point‑of‑sale (mPOS) system.
• Basic knowledge of shop key performance indicators.
• Ability to handle stock management tasks such as deliveries and stocktakes.
