Disbursement Officer – Level 4

About the role

The Disbursement Officer (Level 4) will support the Corporate Services Division by managing utility bill processing, purchase orders, payment vouchers and related financial transactions. The role reports to the Supervisor of Disbursements and ensures compliance with established accounting practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collate utility bills and ensure payments are made to utility companies.
• Generate and issue purchase orders for certification and prepare payment vouchers.
• Maintain utility registers using specialised software.
• Prepare travelling and subsistence allowances for relevant officers.
• Prepare reports on assigned activities and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Required profile

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of relevant computer applications.
• Working knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures, including the FAA Act.

• Proficiency in relevant computer applications used for utility registers and financial processing.
• Understanding of financial and accounting principles and procedures.

What we offer

• Salary range: $1,711,060.00 – $2,301,185.00 per annum (USD).
