Senior Disbursement Officer – Level 5

About the role

The Senior Disbursement Officer ensures that all payments are processed in line with statutory requirements and internal procedures, supporting the Corporate Services Division of the National Land Agency.

Key responsibilities

• Review invoices entered into AccPac (Payables Module) for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and certify purchase orders and travel & subsistence claims.
• Prepare payment vouchers and upload payments to the banking platform (RTGS & Funds Direct).
• Maintain the Advances Register and update Utility and Closed User Group registers monthly.
• Liaise with the Operations Branch on payment queries and provide research support to internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Sound knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures.
• Familiarity with the FAA Act and Financial Instructions to Executive Agencies (FIEA).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AccPac accounting software.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

What we offer

• Salary range: $2,803,771.00 – $3,770,760.00 per annum.
