Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Supervisor

About the role

A well‑established HVAC and technical services company is looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead maintenance and service operations in the Montego Bay region. The role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership to ensure safe, efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC technicians and daily service activities.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and support resolution of complex HVAC faults.
• Monitor work quality, productivity, attendance and job completion.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance schedules, service reports and documentation.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, materials and other resources required for assigned works.
• Liaise professionally with customers and address or escalate technical or service concerns.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and technical standards.
• Support training, coaching and development of technicians.

Required profile

• Formal technical qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong practical knowledge of commercial air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment.
• Previous supervisory experience managing technicians or a technical/maintenance team.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programmes and service operations.
• Valid driver’s licence and residence in Montego Bay/St. James or ability to reliably work in the area.
