Planning & Documentation Manager

About the role

Catalonia Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Planning & Documentation Manager to support a major hotel development project in Jamaica. The role covers project schedules, documentation, reporting and coordination from inception through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and progress tracking systems.
• Monitor project performance, identify delays and risks and implement recovery plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and management updates.
• Coordinate procurement schedules and monitor long-lead project items.
• Manage document control, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, approvals and project records.
• Facilitate communication between consultants, contractors, suppliers and project teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction planning, project controls, scheduling or document management.
• Experience in hotel, resort, commercial or large-scale development projects preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Jamaica for the duration of the project.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software is an asset.
• Strong organizational, reporting, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
