Processing Associate - Tourism Workers Pension Scheme

About the role

Sagicor Employee Benefits Administrators Limited is seeking a Processing Associate to join its Pension Services team and provide administrative support for the Tourism Workers Pension Scheme. The role covers benefit processing, member onboarding, contribution reconciliation, payment tracking and document handling, based in Kingston.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new clients by guiding enrolment forms, vetting and logging applications, enrolling members in the Pension Administration System and uploading enrolment data.
• Prepare benefit letters, correspondence and supporting documents and dispatch them to clients.
• Process retirement, transfer, death, disability, ad hoc and employee-emolument payments, including annuity quotations and liaison with payroll.
• Reconcile and upload contributions and follow up on unallocated cheque payments until resolved.
• Track payments needed to activate client accounts and consult with tourism operators.
• Log, receipt and route incoming documents, and monitor transfers with external pension providers while preparing Statements of Entitlement.
• Support the Pension Administrators and the Manager, and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Two years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients, tourism operators, agents, relationship managers, pension providers and internal team members.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder-service skills.
• Strong organization and time management, accuracy and attention to detail in processing, reconciliation and record keeping.
