Sales Specialist - Call Center

About the role

A fast-paced call center in Kingston is looking for a Sales Specialist. The role involves recommending new or existing products and services to customers by telephone, email, chat, social media and other channels, and meeting sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend products and services to meet customer needs and close sales through the assigned communication channels
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and Net Promoter score objectives
• Engage customers in discovery dialogue to find their needs and best product or service choice
• Address all customer concerns and escalate problematic issues to management
• Document every customer interaction and follow quality assurance guidelines
• Maintain good attendance and work in a high-energy, professional environment

Required profile

• Sales experience in a call center or similar environment
• 3 CXC subjects including English, or 2 CXC subjects and City & Guilds Level 3 English
• Excellent written and verbal communication and typing skills
• Exemplary attendance records with previous employers; work experience is a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Use of other computer-based systems
