Senior Assurance Manager – Audit Services

About the role

Join EY's External Audit team in Jamaica as a Senior Assurance Manager. You will lead audit engagements across the Caribbean, providing independent financial statement examinations and delivering valuable insights to clients and audit committees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business decision‑makers and engagement teams.
• Provide guidance and oversight on complex audit procedures and specialized issues.
• Collaborate with teams to plan audit objectives, develop risk‑based strategies, and embed EY’s risk‑management processes.
• Manage engagement workflows, including resource allocation, budgeting, and progress monitoring.
• Identify industry trends and performance drivers that impact clients.
• Standardise and optimise assurance processes across multiple client portfolios.
• Lead, coach and develop Assistant Managers, Seniors and Staff, fostering accountability and independent thinking.
• Leverage technology and knowledge‑sharing to enhance service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified audit professional with significant experience in external audit.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven capability to manage resources, budgets and engagement timelines.
• Deep understanding of risk‑management and financial reporting standards.
