Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

Digicel is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator to run, secure and manage the on-premises and hybrid (Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365) server infrastructure supporting the Group's business, including the Head Office and the technology teams across its markets. The role covers on-site physical support in Tier III data centres and works within a team of engineers on the Microsoft platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on-premises Microsoft services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, AD CS, SMTP relay, RDS) and hybrid identity with Microsoft Entra ID, including joiner/mover/leaver access and privileged access controls
• Manage corporate Wi-Fi (Cisco Meraki), virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware vSphere), Microsoft 365 administration and licensing, and endpoint/server management via Configuration Manager and/or Intune
• Ensure backups, disaster recovery testing, monitoring and reporting, and certificate lifecycle management
• Provide incident and problem management, root cause analysis, and change management with maintenance windows and rollback plans
• Maintain system health, capacity planning, and an inventory of servers, storage and documentation
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and Bash scripts, harden systems and support ISO/IEC 27001 and ITGC audits
• Support the secure deployment of AI-enabled platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering or a similar role
• Strong written and verbal communication, reporting and documentation skills
• Ability to prioritize in an agile environment using Scrum/Kanban boards

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Unix platforms
• Preferred: Microsoft Configuration Manager/Intune, Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Purview, ITIL 5 Foundation, and Microsoft role-based certifications (AZ-800/AZ-801, AZ-104, MS-102)
