Senior Supervisor, Accounting Services

About the role

Conduent is seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor for Accounting Services to lead a team that supports Fortune 100 clients and government agencies. The role combines functional expertise, operational oversight, and people management to ensure accurate financial processing and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily tasks of complex accounting and finance teams, setting priorities to meet deadlines.
• Manage performance appraisals, pay reviews, training, hiring and termination actions for three or more employees.
• Review expenditure, payment, and outstanding reports for proper authorization and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal management on process‑improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
• Communicate with clients and other departments, acting as a liaison for team administration.
• Support the Senior Manager with day‑to‑day administrative activities and ensure compliance with all company policies.

Required profile

• Broad technical expertise and solid knowledge of accounting principles within the industry.
• Proven ability to manage functional, operational, or program initiatives and achieve goals through team effort.
• Strong leadership skills, including setting priorities, mentoring staff, and resolving day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information and maintain professional relationships.
