Sr. Associate Manager - Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

About the role

The Sr. Associate Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will support the procurement function in Jamaica, handling negotiations, purchasing, and supplier management for a wide range of goods and services. This role works closely with senior procurement leaders to achieve cost savings and ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support negotiations and purchase of goods & services up to USD 25K; assist senior leadership for higher‑value transactions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, prepare comparative analyses, and drive contract negotiations.
• Maintain vendor relationships, act as the local point of contact for quality, price, delivery, and invoicing issues.
• Prepare purchase orders, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and obtain internal approvals.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify alternative suppliers, and contribute to supplier governance.
• Manage non‑tech sourcing activities across facilities, HR, and marketing, handling a purchase volume of over USD 20 M and more than 750 orders annually.
• Achieve annual cost‑saving targets of 8‑10% through effective negotiation and process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply‑chain roles.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate quotations and supplier performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and support senior leadership directives.
