Director, Account Executive – Jamaica

About the role

Visa, a global leader in payments technology, is seeking a results‑driven, tech‑curious Account Executive to lead its Caribbean portfolio. The role will sell Visa’s full suite of solutions, define account strategies, and build strong client relationships across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies, annual plans and territory plans to grow revenue and market share.
• Lead cross‑functional sales motions, coordinating Specialist Sellers, Sales Engineers, and Client Success Managers.
• Manage existing client revenue, driving upselling and cross‑selling while identifying compelling value propositions.
• Oversee pipeline management, negotiate deals, and close new business opportunities.
• Maintain rigorous CRM data hygiene and ensure compliance with Visa policies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in sales with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree with fewer years).
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building senior‑level client relationships.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience serving financial‑institution clients, preferably in card issuing or acquiring.
