Web and Content Strategy Technical Specialist Consultant

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a consultant to lead the transition and harmonisation of its digital platforms for the Caribbean Multi‑Country Office (MCO). Working remotely under the supervision of the Area Representative, you will coordinate the launch of a new Drupal‑based website and align it with social media architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a unified content strategy and narrative for the Caribbean MCO.
• Redesign key web pages and programmatic sections to reflect the regional structure.
• Configure site navigation, information architecture and CMS user roles.
• Lead migration of priority content from Belize, Eastern Caribbean Area, Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname sites, including redirects, URL mapping and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with UNICEF global UX, UI, accessibility and branding standards.
• Resolve content‑related issues and coordinate escalation of platform problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, information management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in digital content management, web governance or digital project coordination.
