Director of Food and Beverage

About the role

The Director of Food and Beverage leads the strategic planning, execution, and daily operations of the food and beverage department across one or multiple locations. This senior position requires strong leadership, bilingual communication, and a proven ability to drive growth while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor short‑ and long‑term strategic plans and budgets for the department.
• Oversee menu development, inventory control, vendor relationships, staff training, and guest satisfaction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with sanitary, safety, health regulations and industry certifications.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate managers and their teams to achieve departmental goals.
• Analyze performance data regularly to spot trends, areas for improvement, and innovation opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience, including 5‑7 years in management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Strong business alignment, problem‑solving, and talent‑development capabilities.
