Bank Teller – Montego Bay

About the role

Join the Branch Operations team at Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited as a Teller in Montego Bay. You will provide professional, attentive service to clients while handling a wide range of core banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, RTGS/Wire Transfers, ACH, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Issue and encash drafts, manager’s cheques, travellers’ cheques, and handle credit‑card and bill payments.
• Verify and process client deposits from the Main Line and Quick Deposit Box.
• Maintain vault and treasury duties, including cash preparation for shipment and excess cash collection.
• Balance and clear transactions, image/scan documents, and dispatch items to verification units.
• Promote and cross‑sell bank products and services, referring clients to appropriate sales channels.
• Ensure compliance with TTR/STR/UTR reporting and POCA regulations.
• Assist in verification of negotiable instruments and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Strong attention to detail, high integrity, and professionalism when dealing with clients.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
