Business & Corporate Credit Solutions Manager

About the role

The Business & Corporate Credit Solutions Manager will drive profitable growth of the bank’s credit portfolio by designing and delivering tailored financial solutions to business and corporate clients. Working closely with Business Bankers and Corporate Relationship Managers, the role bridges client needs with the bank’s risk and credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and recommend terms, pricing, and covenants for credit proposals.
• Prepare and present credit proposals in partnership with Business Bankers and Relationship Managers.
• Monitor assigned credit portfolio, ensuring timely reviews, extensions, and compliance with lending policies and regulations.
• Assess collateral adequacy and borrower capacity, presenting recommendations to the Credit Committee.
• Provide expert advice on credit projects, ensure high‑level service, and meet SLA timelines.
• Deliver training, guidance, and coaching to sales and credit teams.
• Prepare commitment letters for approved loans.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of Jamaica’s commercial banking market and key industry sectors.
• Strong understanding of bank objectives, lending products, and regulatory framework (Banking Act, BOJ regulations).
• Excellent oral and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
