Warehouse Clerk

About the role

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for ensuring smooth flow of goods through receiving, storage, and dispatch. This role supports inventory accuracy, maintains a safe work environment, and collaborates with other departments to meet operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and shelve incoming supplies.
• Perform inventory controls and uphold quality standards for audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and optimize space utilization.
• Schedule and assign warehouse staff, then follow up on work results.
• Inspect products for defects or damages.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Organize warehouse layout for efficient space use.
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in stock management systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
• Report any inventory discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a warehousing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic numeracy skills.
