Audit Manager / Senior Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Deloitte Jamaica is seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to lead audit engagements primarily for financial services clients. You will oversee the full audit cycle, ensure high‑quality delivery, and contribute to the firm’s reputation for integrity and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of new and existing audit clients, primarily in banking and insurance.
• Lead engagement teams, providing technical guidance on accounting standards, risk assessments, and audit responses.
• Apply professional skepticism and uphold Deloitte’s quality and integrity standards.
• Identify and drive innovation, including adoption of new audit technologies.
• Develop team capabilities, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of engagements.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across the Caribbean, Bermuda, and globally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Internationally recognised professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
• Minimum 4‑6 years of progressive audit experience for Manager level; 7+ years with banking/insurance exposure for Senior Manager level.
• Proven team‑leadership, practice‑management and stakeholder‑relationship experience.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Risk assessment and audit methodology expertise.
• Experience with audit‑related technology and tools.
