About the role

The Bearer is responsible for safely and timely carrying out tasks such as picking up and delivering items—including inventory, documents, and supplies—to corporate partners across the island. The role involves driving an assigned motorcycle or vehicle, collaborating with warehouse personnel, and maintaining alertness without the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver documents, packages, and supplies to designated locations within the facility or to external clients.
• Support event set‑up and dismantling, including arranging furniture and equipment as needed.
• Interact professionally with clients and staff, providing assistance and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help maintain accurate delivery records.
• Assist in keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations across departments.
• Perform any other duties related to the bearer portfolio as required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience operating a commercial carriage vehicle.
• Valid Open General Driver’s licence, including permission to operate motorcycles.
• Ability to remain alert and operate without the influence of drugs or alcohol.
