Benefits Manager

About the role

The Benefits Manager is responsible for the financial management, reporting and analysis of benefit programs for active, disabled and retired employees across a cluster of countries. The role partners with HR, Finance, Legal and external vendors to ensure programs are cost‑effective, compliant and aligned with corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regular reporting and financial analysis of all benefit programs, monitoring trends, usage, costs and performance.
• Design and adjust benefit plans to meet cost‑efficiency, competitive positioning and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare annual benefit strategies, benchmarking, enrolment processes and executive reporting.
• Manage benefit policies, ensure compliance with taxation and other regulations, and support labour‑relations discussions.
• Develop and coordinate employee communications to increase understanding of benefit offerings.
• Oversee budgeting, variance analysis, invoice processing and external consulting fees.
• Support pension, GESOP/ESOP and well‑being initiatives in collaboration with global teams.
• Provide expertise for mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing projects and vendor contract due‑diligence.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and consultative mindset with experience in benefits administration.
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards, regulatory and tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Effective communication skills for both employee and leadership audiences.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting and variance analysis.
