Investment Management Analyst or Associate – Talent Pool

About the role

IDB Invest is creating a Talent Pool of qualified Investment Management Analysts and Associates to support current and future business needs across the Financial Institutions, Corporates, and Infrastructure & Energy sectors in the Caribbean. The role focuses on developing innovative financing solutions, managing client relationships, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive sustainable development impact.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring, negotiation, approval, and execution of loan, quasi‑equity, and equity investments in corporate, infrastructure, and energy projects.
• Contribute to client relationship management, business development, due diligence, and market research.
• Perform financial analysis and modeling to assess opportunities and manage risks.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative financing solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• 1‑2 years of professional experience in loan and investment analysis, structured finance, or corporate finance transactions.
• Experience with complex transaction analysis and exposure to investment firms, advisory firms, development banks, or infrastructure companies is desirable.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, or French are a plus.
