Junior Tax Accountant & Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Dimov Tax is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Tax Accountant and Data Entry Specialist to join our remote tax preparation team. The role involves entering client tax information into Intuit ProConnect Tax, maintaining confidential records, and supporting senior tax professionals throughout the tax season and year‑round.

Key responsibilities

• Enter client tax documents and financial information into Intuit ProConnect Tax accurately and efficiently.
• Review client documentation for completeness and identify missing information.
• Organize and maintain electronic tax files and supporting documents.
• Verify data accuracy before submission to senior tax preparers or accountants.
• Assist with importing, scanning, and categorizing tax documents.
• Communicate with team members regarding missing or inconsistent client information.
• Follow established tax office procedures and data security protocols.
• Support tax professionals with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client financial and personal information.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards during high‑volume tax periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting or tax concepts.
• Experience with data entry or administrative work preferred.
• Familiarity with Intuit ProConnect Tax or other tax software is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and document management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
