Managing Director – Jamaica

About the role

GAP Talent is conducting a confidential search for a Managing Director to lead an established business in Jamaica operating in retail, commercial and digital sectors. The role requires a commercially minded leader to take full responsibility for performance, develop a strong management team and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the business’s commercial and operational performance.
• Own the P&L and deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth.
• Strengthen customer relationships and service standards.
• Develop the leadership team and build accountability across the organisation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and expand the business.

Required profile

• Held a senior leadership role with significant P&L and people responsibility.
• Experience in retail, commercial services, distribution or another customer‑focused business.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach to delivery.
• Willingness to relocate from Trinidad and Tobago to Jamaica (relocation assistance provided).

What we offer

• Compensation of approximately US$120,000 per annum, plus benefits and performance incentives.
