Retail Accountant – Luxury Furniture Retail

About the role

ARD2K, a premier luxury furniture retailer, is seeking a Retail Accountant to own the financial and inventory systems that drive our retail operations. You will ensure accurate transaction recording, maintain financial integrity, and support strategic growth through insightful reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage statutory tax filings, including GCT, Income Tax and payroll taxes.
• Oversee full AP/AR cycles, including supplier payments and customer hire‑purchase accounts.
• Perform daily and monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Lead QuickBooks inventory optimization for furniture retail, handling imports, landed costs and real‑time stock availability.
• Implement internal controls for layaway and hire‑purchase plans.
• Develop daily and weekly dashboards on sales performance, stock turns and liquidity.
• Collaborate with warehouse and store managers to reconcile physical and digital inventory.

Required profile

• ACCA certification.
• Minimum 3 years of retail accounting experience with a focus on inventory management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Required skills

• Advanced QuickBooks expertise, especially inventory and payroll modules.
