Vice President – Asset Management & Research

About the role

The Vice President – Asset Management & Research will lead the investment strategy, portfolio construction and research architecture for the Group’s asset management platform. Reporting to senior leadership, this role integrates macro‑economic insights, research findings and disciplined risk management to deliver superior risk‑adjusted returns across all managed portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee asset allocation across fixed income, equities, alternatives and multi‑asset portfolios, ensuring alignment with mandates and market conditions.
• Design and implement portfolio construction frameworks for discretionary portfolios and investment funds.
• Provide strategic oversight of multi‑asset portfolio performance, ensuring competitive absolute and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Ensure compliance with investment policy statements, regulatory limits and internal risk parameters.
• Lead the development and launch of innovative investment products and collective investment schemes such as mutual funds and unit trusts.
• Collaborate with affiliated entities to centralise research capabilities and guide investment thinking across the Group.
• Support business development initiatives to acquire new asset‑management clients and grow revenue.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in asset management, investment research or portfolio management at a senior level.
• Proven track record of delivering consistent risk‑adjusted performance.
• Strong understanding of multi‑asset investment processes and regulatory environments.
• Leadership experience with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
