Vice President – Asset Management & Research

About the role

The Vice President – Asset Management & Research leads the investment strategy, portfolio construction, and research architecture for the Group’s asset management platform. This senior position integrates macroeconomic analysis, research insights, and disciplined portfolio processes to deliver superior risk‑adjusted returns across all managed portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Guide asset allocation decisions across fixed income, equities, alternatives, and multi‑asset portfolios, ensuring alignment with mandates and market conditions.
• Design and implement portfolio construction frameworks for discretionary portfolios and investment funds.
• Oversee performance of investment portfolios, ensuring competitive absolute and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Ensure all portfolios comply with investment policy statements, regulatory limits, and internal risk parameters.
• Provide investment leadership for collective investment schemes, including mutual funds and unit trusts.
• Support business development efforts to secure new asset‑management business.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in asset management, investment research, or portfolio management.
• Strong track record of integrating research insights into investment decisions.
• Deep understanding of multi‑asset investment strategies and risk management frameworks.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with affiliated entities and senior stakeholders.
