About the role

OCPAY is a digital payments platform that helps businesses of all sizes accept payments easily, streamlining how they get paid and improving cash flow. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist in Portmore. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads and building relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Present OCPAY's solutions and support the onboarding of new business accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Prepare proposals and deliver high-quality customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Track performance metrics and give feedback to support continuous improvement of the products and services.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, business development or a related field within technology, financial services or digital payments.
• Comfortable working on-site in Portmore, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline is preferred.
