Car Wash Operations Assistant Manager

About the role

Golden Nozzle Car Wash is looking for a hands‑on Assistant Manager to support daily operations of its high‑volume facility. You will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily site operations, including staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully operational facility and equipment at all times.
• Optimize vehicle throughput to minimize wait times and enhance the customer experience.
• Provide best‑in‑class customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
• Support sales initiatives, membership growth, and revenue‑driving activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of chemicals, parts, and supplies.
• Enforce safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Review operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to improve site performance.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age with the ability to work up to 50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and work outdoors in temperatures from –10°F to 100°F.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of car wash equipment, maintenance practices, and safety standards (a plus).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic operational software systems.
