Consumer Brands Coordinator

About the role

Caribbean Chemicals Jamaica is hiring an onsite Consumer Brands Coordinator in Jamaica, reporting to the Sales Manager. The role manages the company's consumer brand portfolio and coordinates the development and implementation of marketing strategies across multiple regions, working with internal teams, regional distributors, Brand Principals and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual brand plans and strategies covering advertising, marketing, trade promotions, research and budget management.
• Coordinate and run brand programmes and marketing campaigns across regional markets, keeping brand standards, messaging and visual identity consistent.
• Conduct market and consumer research and analyse sales volume, market share, pricing, profitability and distribution.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, and track brand-level profit and loss, net sales, brand contribution and budget targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, distributors, agencies and other stakeholders to support volume forecasts.
• Provide distributors with sales and marketing materials and training, and coordinate inventory and shipments.
• Prepare and submit monthly sales and marketing reports to the Sales Manager and Brand Principals.

Required profile

• First degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least three years' experience in a similar role with decision-making responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience in brand management, marketing, market research, sales analysis and campaign execution.
• Experience with agencies, distributors or regional markets is an asset.
• Valid driver's licence; willingness and ability to travel frequently.

Required skills

• Strong business, financial and market analysis skills, and budgeting and campaign execution.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management, able to handle several campaigns and deadlines at once.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
