Freelance Market Research Analyst – Jamaica

About the role

Euromonitor International seeks a self‑motivated freelancer to support project‑based market research for US‑based managers. The role combines remote analysis with on‑the‑ground store visits across Jamaica, delivering actionable consumer‑insight reports.

Key responsibilities

• Collect primary data by visiting retail stores and interviewing staff.
• Gather secondary information from published sources and databases.
• Analyse sales trends, market share, and competitive strategies using Excel.
• Prepare concise reports that answer client questions on product categories, market potential, and positioning.

Required profile

• Located in Jamaica and able to work remotely with occasional store visits.
• Available 30‑35 hours per week and can start within two weeks.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, deadline‑focused and tenacious in information gathering.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
