Employee Benefits Sales Advisor (Commission-Based)

About the role

Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is looking for a motivated Employee Benefits Sales Advisor to join its Marketing Services (EBD) team in Mandeville. The role focuses on selling and marketing employee benefits products to new and existing clients while maintaining a high portfolio retention rate.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Employee Benefits products, negotiate contract renewals and maintain at least 95% portfolio conservation.
• Develop strong client relationships, provide value‑added service and conduct claims utilization education sessions.
• Assist in premium collection, strategic planning, market intelligence gathering and preliminary fraud reporting.
• Prepare monthly productivity reports for the Director of Sales and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum five CXC/GCE O’Level subjects, including a numeric subject.
• At least two years of sales experience, with one year in the insurance industry.
• Excellent time‑management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ownership of a reliable motor car.

Required skills

• Knowledge of group insurance business and ability to negotiate rates and benefits.
• Proficiency with computer software packages, especially spreadsheets and word‑processing applications.
