Insurance Transaction Customer Service Associate (Contract)

About the role

Sutherland is seeking motivated individuals to join its team as Insurance Transaction Customer Service Associates on a contract basis. In this role you will support insurance customers through various communication channels, ensuring accurate policy information and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and clearly convey actions taken on insurance policies.
• Process policy changes, billing inquiries, and premium payments.
• Collaborate with licensed insurance agents to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, chats, and emails.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities and refer customers to agents.
• Adhere to company and industry compliance standards while protecting customer confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent (CXC/GCE/City & Guilds subjects inclusive of English).
• Prior healthcare or insurance experience preferred.
• Valid government ID, TRN, NIS card and ability to pass background and drug checks.
• Flexible availability to work any shift, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to train and work onsite at the Red Hills Road location.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience using CRM or similar customer‑service platforms.
• Basic PC keyboarding and typing speed of at least 30 WPM with 80% accuracy.
