IT Risk & Issue Management – Senior Analyst

About the role

The Senior Analyst will manage security, risk, audit and operational issues from investigation through verified closure for KPMG Jamaica's extended support services. You will partner with issue owners, translate technical matters into business impacts, and support leadership reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end issue management, including investigations, root‑cause analysis, remediation planning and verified closure.
• Build strong relationships with remediation owners, track milestones, challenge insufficient evidence and escalate risks or delays.
• Translate complex technical, cybersecurity and operational issues into clear business impacts for executive decision‑making.
• Prioritise and manage competing deadlines across remediation initiatives, audit responses and ad‑hoc risk escalations while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Provide accurate updates for monthly and quarterly leadership reports and presentations.
• Contribute to project teams or independently manage small projects, including documentation and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT Audit, IT Project Management, Identity and Access Management or GRC.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, paperless environment.

Required skills

• Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
• Artificial‑Intelligence tools such as Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot.
• Compliance and workflow platforms like Archer, ServiceNow and SharePoint.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
