Learning & Development Assistant Officer

About the role

The Learning & Development Assistant Officer will support KPMG United States' Learning Technologies process area from the Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) delivery centre. This hybrid role involves moderating virtual classroom sessions and handling related administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage small to medium learning projects, coordinate rehearsals, review and load session materials.
• Introduce virtual sessions, handle opening and closing, and address audience technical questions.
• Ensure presenters are comfortable, equipment is functional, and contingency plans are ready for technical issues.
• Assist with ad‑hoc tasks as requested.

Required profile

• Associate degree or 13th grade education.
• At least six months of professional experience.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, paperless environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office and other productivity tools.
• Tech‑savvy with ability to learn new business information systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete lower‑complexity tasks accurately with limited direction.
