Student Support Consultant - ACCA Qualification

About the role

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) is hiring a Student Support Consultant to guide and support students pursuing the ACCA qualification. Reporting to the Executive Director, the consultant strengthens student engagement, examination success and progression toward ICAJ membership through personalised guidance, coaching and timely support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group guidance on ACCA requirements, examination planning and qualification pathways.
• Develop tailored study and examination success plans, monitor progress and coordinate targeted support.
• Connect students with learning resources, tuition support and student communities.
• Organise orientations, outreach activities and workshops on study skills, examination preparation and career planning.
• Maintain accurate student records, analyse progression trends and work with stakeholders to improve student support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management Studies, an ACCA professional accounting qualification, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in student services, academic advising, coaching, customer success, education or a related field.
• Knowledge of the ACCA qualification structure and examination process.
• Experience in higher or professional education, or examination preparation, including supporting adult learners or students pursuing professional qualifications.

Required skills

• Experience using student information or database management systems.
