PEP Instructor (Grades 4‑6) – Onsite

About the role

The PEP Instructor will design and deliver high‑quality virtual lessons in Science, Social Studies, Mathematics and Language Arts for primary‑level learners, focusing on preparation for the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) examinations. The role blends curriculum expertise with innovative educational technology to create engaging digital learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver curriculum‑aligned virtual lessons, integrating PEP‑style questions, inquiry‑based activities and differentiated instruction.
• Design and implement gamified learning experiences using tools such as Nearpod, Kahoot!, Quizizz/Wayground, Wordwall and Google Workspace.
• Collaborate with curriculum specialists, instructional designers and studio production teams to produce live‑streamed and pre‑recorded lessons.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter competence in Science and Social Studies, with the ability to teach Mathematics and Language Arts.
• Proven experience preparing students for the PEP examinations and familiarity with Jamaica’s National Standards Curriculum.
• High technological proficiency and enthusiasm for integrating emerging educational technologies.
