Financial Manager – Renewable Energy (Photovoltaics)

About the role

Elecnor is seeking a Financial Manager to lead the financial operations of its photovoltaic projects in Jamaica. The role combines full‑cycle accounting, tax compliance, treasury management and internal control responsibilities within a fast‑growing renewable‑energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local bookkeeping, prepare financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS, and produce monthly, quarterly and annual corporate reports.
• Oversee Jamaican tax obligations (GCT, corporate tax, payroll withholdings) and ensure timely statutory filings.
• Forecast cash flow, administer local bank accounts, optimise working capital and supervise payments to suppliers.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities and Group audit teams, implementing internal control procedures.
• Utilise ERP systems (AS400, Ipartek Web, SAGE X3) and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial administration, accounting and compliance, preferably in multinational, construction, energy or infrastructure firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; CPA or ACCA highly valued.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership, analytical ability, autonomy and cross‑cultural adaptability.
