Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The Group Chief Financial Officer will lead the financial strategy, performance, and governance of a diversified Insurance & Investments Group. Reporting to the Group CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders and ensure disciplined capital allocation and long‑term shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s overall financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee finance across subsidiaries, business units, joint ventures, and investment entities, ensuring robust governance and controls.
• Assume responsibility for Group P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and capital position, driving earnings growth and expense efficiency.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and scenario analysis.
• Provide executive oversight of insurance finance, monitoring premiums, claims, reserves, and underwriting profitability.
• Partner with investment and asset‑management teams to support financing, capital allocation, and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in insurance, investment management, asset management, or regulated financial institutions.
• Proven track record of strategic financial planning, capital management, and governance at a group level.
• Strong ability to advise CEOs, Boards, and investment committees on financial matters.
• Demonstrated experience driving profitability, balance‑sheet resilience, and regulatory compliance.
