Reservations Specialist – Car Rental (Soft Sales)

About the role

This position acts as a liaison between the company and its worldwide customers, focusing on retaining and growing specialty customer business. The specialist handles pre‑, during‑, and post‑rental inquiries, resolves issues, and strives to keep customer satisfaction at the core of every decision.

Key responsibilities

• Clarify, research, and communicate options to fulfill customer needs for new and existing car rental reservations, including cross‑selling ancillary products and services.
• Input required data into company systems, ensuring accurate tracking and retention of customer records.
• Provide prompt assistance with reservation special‑handling forms, reports, and adjustments via telephone and email.
• Coordinate with field operations personnel to investigate and resolve service issues, maintaining professional communication standards.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma with at least 3 CXC/CSEC subjects (including English).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer care environment or inside sales.
• At least 6 months of BPO or sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
