Sales Lead – Partnerships, Sponsorships & Revenue

About the role

The Caribbean Cannabis & Tourism Summit and Ganjactivist.com Magazine are looking for an experienced Sales Lead to own and grow the revenue function across events, media, and sponsorships. You will be responsible for generating new business, closing high‑value deals, and building a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive summit sponsorship and exhibitor sales.
• Secure magazine advertising and branded‑content opportunities.
• Manage ticket packages, group sales, and strategic partnership activations.
• Set sales targets, develop pipelines, and produce regular reporting.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage commission‑based sales representatives.
• Collaborate closely with the founder, programming, and operations teams.
• Recommend team expansions and sales decisions, with final approval by the founder.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event sponsorship, media advertising, hospitality, tourism, or cannabis‑related sales.
• Track record of closing large partnership or sponsorship deals.
• Experience managing commission‑based sales teams and using CRM systems.
• Strong organizational, persuasive, and commercial mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment.
