Storeroom Clerk

About the role

The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate retrieval, binning, and dispatch of parts and merchandise within a warehouse environment. The role also ensures the storeroom remains clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Pick items from invoices promptly and retrieve merchandise from designated bins.
• Bin received goods correctly and re‑bin parts as needed.
• Load and unload merchandise from trucks or containers.
• Prepare orders for wholesale customers or branch locations, verifying quantities and part numbers.
• Restock and tidy assigned bin areas, sweeping and maintaining cleanliness.
• Prepare boxes for disposal following company protocol.
• Operate forklift, hand trucks, and other authorized warehouse equipment.
• Assist with security functions as required.

Required profile

• At least two years of related warehouse or storeroom experience.
• Minimum of three CSEC/CXC subjects; a certificate in automotive studies is an asset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
• Willingness to work weekends and in a physical, warehouse setting.
