Account Placement Specialist

About the role

Wing Assistant places contractors across 25+ role types (GVAs, EAs, SDRs, CSRs and more) for clients in the Philippines, LATAM and global markets. The Account Placement Specialist manages the end-to-end client engagement process, working in a fast-paced environment where internal coordination happens through Discord. The role sits in the Sales & Talent Acquisition team and reports to the VP of Revenue Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Understand potential customer input through intake forms and use the organization-wide ATS systems to find matching candidates
• Interview candidates to confirm they fit what the potential client is looking for
• Run full discovery calls, qualify the client's needs, present Wing's value and bring live, vetted candidates onto the call
• Close while interest is highest, propose next steps and formalize the deal in Discord/JRF within 30-60 minutes
• Keep the candidate bench current and tagged by role, industry and availability, so 2-3 credible matches can be found with 10-30 minutes' notice
• Confirm candidate availability at T-24h and T-30min, and always have a backup ready
• Finalize compliance and formal matching after a deal closes, and keep the CSM/TA aligned on onboarding status

Required profile

• Has personally run outbound and discovery through to close, not just handed off qualified leads
• Recruiting or sourcing experience with genuine same-day turnaround, not multi-day pipelines
• Comfortable improvising live, able to steer a call and brief a candidate in 10-15 minutes
• Fast and responsive, working in minutes rather than hours
• Nice to have: staffing, recruiting or B2B services sales background; comfort with async work in Discord/Slack; history of maintaining a warm bench of backup candidates; track record of anticipating problems such as candidate no-shows
