Banking Collections and Customer Service Associate

About the role

Join Sutherland’s Loan Collections and Customer Service team to assist existing customers with account inquiries, payment arrangements, and credit building. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, providing empathetic support while meeting production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Educate customers on account status and secure payments or payment arrangements.
• Contact delinquent customers, overcome objections, and help them understand their responsibilities.
• Maintain positive relationships with the Loan Servicing team and meet or exceed production targets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years old with 3‑4 CXC/GCE/City & Guilds subjects or equivalent high school diploma.
• Valid government ID, TRN, NIS card, and ability to pass background and drug checks.
• Flexible availability for any shift, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and emotional resilience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience using CRM applications.
• Basic PC keyboarding and tech‑savvy troubleshooting abilities.
