Auto Loan Collections Associate

About the role

The Auto Loan Collections Associate will handle inbound and outbound calls with existing customers, helping them understand their loan status, resolve issues, and arrange payments. The role focuses on maintaining strong credit standing for customers and building long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Educate customers on account status and attempt to secure payments or payment arrangements.
• Contact delinquent customers, overcome objections, and explain account responsibilities.
• Maintain positive relationships with the Loan Servicing team and meet or exceed production goals.
• Provide excellent customer service to assist customers facing unexpected financial obligations.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and persuasive negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, agile in a fast‑paced environment, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18+ with at least 3‑4 CXC/GCE subjects including English, a valid government ID, TRN and NIS card.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency.
• Experience with CRM applications and multi‑tasking across several software tools.
• Strong PC keyboarding and tech‑savvy troubleshooting abilities.
