Key Account Representative

About the role

F.T. Farfan (Jamaica) Limited is recruiting a Key Account Representative to promote and market the company's products and provide superior customer service. This is a full-time, on-site position in Jamaica; candidates must be legally authorized to work there, and relocation costs are the candidate's responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company's products and seek new ways to introduce them to customers
• Take customer orders and follow up on deliveries
• Handle customer questions, complaints and billing queries courteously and professionally
• Manage customer accounts within the limits of their credit facilities under company policy
• Collect revenue and adjust customer accounts where necessary
• Verify inventory where products are sold and ensure product availability
• Assist in advertising and promotional campaigns
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, pricing and promotions and attend scheduled training
• Make recommendations based on customer needs and report visits fortnightly on prescribed forms
• Bill delivery notes and collect cash-on-delivery payments in line with procedures
• Record attendance at assigned branches and follow HSE policies

Required profile

• Minimum of five CXC/CSEC O'Level passes including English and Mathematics
• At least three years of experience in customer service or a similar position
• Good written, oral and interpersonal skills; team-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Own vehicle
