Knowledge Management Specialist (Evaluation and Data)

About the role

The UNICEF Caribbean Multi-Country Office (MCO) is hiring a Knowledge Management Specialist (Evaluation and Data) in Kingston, Jamaica, on a fixed-term appointment (NO-3 level). The post sits within the Evidence Generation and Evaluation/Knowledge Management cluster, which makes the MCO more data-driven and evidence-based. It reports to the Data & Analytics Specialist (Team Lead) in Trinidad and Tobago and works closely with the Deputy Representative (Programme Coordinator) in Jamaica.

Key responsibilities

• Lead knowledge management and organizational learning across the Caribbean MCO, ensuring data, research and evaluation findings are captured, synthesized and turned into practical evidence for programme development, planning and decision-making.
• Translate evidence into briefs for management and strategic decision-making, and strengthen the quality of reporting across inter-agency, joint and UNICEF platforms.
• Drive knowledge management and learning across the sub-region, and contribute to MCO-wide reporting, organizational learning, innovation and capacity building.
• Build networks and partnerships that advance evidence-informed policy for children across the 12 countries served by the MCO.
• Support evidence generation in the Caribbean, including data collection activities, institutional and impact evaluations, and strengthening of national evidence capacities, in coordination with the MCO Planning and Monitoring team.
