Marketing Manager

About the role

CoolMarket, Jamaica's largest ecommerce marketplace and a subsidiary of the Cool Group of Companies, is hiring a full-time, on-site Marketing Manager in Saint Ann. The role plans, executes and optimises marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and sales growth across CoolMarket and its supporting brands, Cool Loans and GoCool, with limited Cool Corp responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategies and manage digital and traditional marketing channels
• Analyse performance metrics and coordinate with internal teams for consistent brand messaging
• Oversee content and promotional calendars, and support product launches and seasonal campaigns
• Manage external partners and agencies where necessary
• Carry out market research and competitor analysis, and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Prior experience in a marketing management or senior marketing role, preferably in retail or ecommerce
• Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with local partners and stakeholders in Saint Ann, Jamaica

Required skills

• Digital marketing: social media, email marketing, online advertising and SEO/SEM
• Marketing analytics, reporting tools and data-driven decision-making
• Copywriting, presentation skills and project, budget and timeline management
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, online retail or marketplace environments is highly beneficial
