Bank Teller – Hope Road Branch

About the role

Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is looking for a reliable Teller to join its Hope Road branch in Kingston. You will provide professional, attentive service to clients while accurately handling core banking transactions and supporting the branch’s operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Process client deposits, withdrawals, RTGS/Wire Transfers, ACH, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Verify and remit cash, manage vault duties, and prepare cash shipments to the processing unit.
• Issue and encash drafts, manager’s cheques, traveller’s cheques, and handle credit‑card and bill payments.
• Balance and image cheques for clearing, scan documents, and file processed work for verification.
• Cross‑sell bank products, refer clients to appropriate sales channels, and promote services to obtain referrals.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of teller functions and POCA regulations (advantage).
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
