Branch Supervisor - Auto Parts Retail

About the role

Berts Auto Parts is looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead its auto parts branch in Kingston. The Supervisor is responsible for the customer's experience in the branch and for handling returns, ensuring that sales and refund targets are met. The role organises and coordinates operations, infrastructure, resources, personnel and systems to deliver the best possible sales experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the customer experience in the branch and manage the returns process
• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline staff, and plan, monitor and appraise results so productivity targets are met or exceeded
• Produce accurate reports and statistics and submit them on time
• Set up communication channels for effective information flow within the branch
• Manage branch UTL and monitor sales, cashier, delivery clerks and warehouse team members against company standards
• Carry out monthly physical inventory counts, reconcile variances and enter the data
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required profile

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Business Administration
• At least 2 years' experience at supervisor level in the retail industry
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours and on alternate weekends

• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
