Direct Sales Agent (St. Ann & St. Mary)

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is hiring a Direct Sales Agent for the parish of St. Ann. The agent sells Digicel+ products and services to new customers and upsells and cross-sells to existing ones in residential communities across Jamaica. The role suits a motivated, customer-focused person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage company inventory and keep accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door sales visits in assigned territories to promote and sell products and services.
• Identify new business opportunities and run targeted sales initiatives to grow the subscriber base.
• Manage and account for company-issued devices, inventory and cash collections according to established procedures.
• Capture and maintain accurate prospect and customer data to support sales and follow-up.
• Process customer orders, applications and sales documents accurately and on time.
• Achieve assigned sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
• Answer customer questions and concerns about products, services and company offerings.
• Build customer relationships to drive acquisition, retention and loyalty.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold brand standards.
• Maintain sales records and prepare reports tracking performance and market opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 CXC/GCE O'levels, including English and a numeric subject.
• Previous sales experience is an asset; previous customer service experience is also an asset.

Required skills

• Good computation skills.
• Knowledge of the Internet and applications.
• Good grasp of the Microsoft Office suite.
